Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Website Developer to join our team at The Digital Oxygen. As a Website Developer, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and responsive websites that align with our clients’ goals and enhance their online presence. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and project managers to develop websites that meet client specifications and objectives.
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into well-crafted, responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of websites across various browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Stay updated on emerging web development trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our processes and deliverables.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing websites, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Website Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your web development projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and frameworks.
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla) and web hosting platforms.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and best practices for optimizing websites across different devices and screen sizes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred but not required).
